What is relayer?

Relayer is a free, browser-based collaborative writing game. You take turns continuing a story, but you only ever see the last sentence the previous person wrote — everything before that stays hidden. Some players also get secret missions to slip into the text without the others noticing. At the end, you read the whole tale together. No downloads, no installs: open a link, pick a name, and play together from any device.

How to play

1. Create a room and share the room code with your friends so they can join from any browser.
2. When it's your turn, you only see the last sentence the previous person wrote — everything before stays hidden. Add your sentence and pass the relay.
3. Some players get secret missions: sneak in a specific word, push the story toward a genre, or introduce a character — without the others noticing.
4. At the end, you read the whole story together — usually surprising, often chaotic, always invented as a group.
